First time buyer...moving up...downsizing...just have the itch to do it again?

We are a design/build company, so the people who create your new home on paper are the ones responsible for seeing that it looks the same on the site when it is completed.  And that brings up another question...

Which comes first, the plans or the lot? 

Can I do it either way?  Yes.  Is there a preferable way?  Yes.  Choosing the site before you design the home has numerous benefits, not the least of which is designing the home to take full advantage of all unique aspects of your site.  And often when the site is known, features may come to mind that would not otherwise be considered.
